- Policies and procedures and company culture
- Support and advise leadership
- Hiring, discipline, terminations, performance reviews, personnel files
- Handbook and job descriptions
- Employee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
- Oversee payroll practices, employee benefits enrollment, leaves of absence, assist with workers’ compensation claims, and other employee matters
- Support and assist safety supervisor
- Employee relations and events

- Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years of HR management experience
- Experience in an industrial setting preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional- SHRM Professional credential
- HR Manager of 100 plus employee company with multiple locations preferred
- Supervisory experience including hiring, training, and performance management
- Thorough knowledge of California employment law
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Spanish speaking desirable but not necessary
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Interpersonal skills: ethical, objective, fairness
