Our client is a Nationally recognized food, beverage and spirits manufacturing company that has an
excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor that will provide both mechanical and electrical skills as well as personnel manage your team of 5 (+/-).

-Organize and manage maintenance staff to support the shift’s production.
-Communicate with previous Maintenance Shift Manager and Production Supervisors for shift direction, concerns, and preventative maintenance schedule
-Maintain employees training of best practice methodologies, and document.
-Organize and direct team for shift workload including scheduled maintenance and potential emergencies
-Work closely with other department managers to ensure all equipment is running efficiently for peak performance
-Point person on all emergency repairs and new request items
-Responsible to insure optimal equipment performance and continued personnel safety
-Participate and lead all maintenance shift activities
-Comply with site mechanical and electrical standards to improve production OEE and utility reliability
-Assist and recommend all cost reduction efforts
-Remain current with latest technology related to the manufacture of products, and automation, as well as industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems performance and operation
-Champion awareness regarding safety, quality, and technology for improved equipment reliability
-Coach, mentor and develop staff, including preparing and conducting employee performance appraisal
-Maintain employee work schedules including timecard approval, work assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, and paid time off
-Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
-Passion for continuous improvement, self-motivated and the ability motivate and influence others

-AAS or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering OR equivalent 5 years’ experience leading a Maintenance Team supporting a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operation; (Required)
-5 years’ experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry and/or high speed packaged consumer goods manufacturing environment; (Preferred)
-Ability to effectively communicate with team members as well as across departments and with managements
-Detailed documentation pertaining to personnel as well as repairs, recommendations and issues resolved
-Team player and ability to work in collaborative environment
-Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software along with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project; (required)
-Lean manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma experience preferred but not required
