Description

Looking for an opportunity to use your skills in Marketing and Communication? Would you like to get paid to be on social media? Do you like to think outside the box? Our client is looking for the right person to help develop brand identity and promote their services and products throughout the Central Valley.

-Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic communication plan across the entire organization in collaboration with senior leadership
-Create content for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and e-newsletters; assisting with photography, graphic design as needed
-Interact with social media community to encourage and maximize participation.
-Create and manage content for the website in coordination with the other departments
-Research and gather stories and news for the website, press releases and other communications.
-Manage media relations activities, including identification of news opportunities and feature story ideas, writing news releases/media advisories, pitching to targeted media, responding to media calls, etc.
-Write and oversee production of collateral materials such as brochures, newsletters, and special reports
-Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations, video communications, and event programs for events and initiatives.
-Assist and support the Resource Development team and other departments in all Campaigns, PR, Marketing, and activities.

Requirements

-Strong use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
-Attend occasional evening and weekend events, as needed to capture photograph’s that will be used in communications.
-Excellent writing, graphic design, and presentation skills. (Recent writing and design samples will be required).
-Strong organization, time management, and project management capabilities. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, while managing multiple deadlines in a continually changing work environment.
-Creative expertise with graphic design software programs and some photography experience.
-Public Speaking – Ability to speak in public confidently, persuasively and on the telephone with confidence and professionalism that results in conversion of a lead to membership.
-Communications: Exhibits good listening and comprehension, expresses ideas and thoughts in written and verbal forms, keeps others adequately informed, selects and uses appropriate communication methods.
-Customer Service: Displays courtesy and sensitivity, manages difficult or emotional situations, meets commitments, responds promptly to customer needs, and solicits customer feedback to improve service.
-Problem Solving: Develops alternative solutions, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, identifies problems in a timely manner, resolves problems in early stages, works well in group problem solving situations.
-Become an expert of Sales Force Marketing Cloud to strengthen communications.
-Must have a valid driver’s license, valid car insurance and registration, and reliable transportation and provide clean DMV report
-Must be able to clear background check

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, PR, communications or equivalent required
-Bilingual is a plus, but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The incumbent must be able to perform the following qualifications in order to be offered and/or maintain employment in this position.
-Physical ability to frequently stop, kneel, bend, crouch, and reach overhead.
-Use of light force to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects up to 20 pounds
-Ability to remain stationary and to use computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods of time.
-Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule, including many evenings and weekends as required by position responsibilities.
