Description	Denham Resources has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Controller to oversee all aspects of the financial and accounting operations of our client, a local well-established, rapidly expanding casino operation that has a fun, high energy environment and culture. -Oversees and develops budgets, internal and cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reporting -Collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve operations and financial performance -Manages the cash flow and activity and ensures reconciliation of all funds and bank accounts -Maintains and safeguards all accounting records, gaming documents, Title 31 logs and reports, and financial reports -Reviews receipts and disbursements to determine cash position, prepares necessary journal entries, and cash transfers -Investigates all material cash variances and gaming revenue statistical variances, assuring proper documentation is prepared and retained on file -Prepares monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, and strategic planning according to GAAP guidelines -Manages external financial, government and insurance audits -Prepares and files all required taxes for local, state, and federal agencies, quarterly and annual licenses -Complies with federal, state, local, gaming regulations -Oversees and manages all accounting and finance functions and staff
Requirements	-4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required -5 - 7 years+ of proven, progressively responsible financial and operational cost control managerial experience -Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP -Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word and Outlook -Proficient with QuickBooks Pro or preferably QuickBooks Enterprise -Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, communication and organizational skills Send your resume in MS Word format to Sheri Wright at sheriw@denham.net or call (559) 222.5284 if you have any questions.
