Denham Resources has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team of our agribusiness client located in the Tulare, Hanford area. This position provides you with tremendous opportunities for growth within the organization.

-Execute and oversee general accounting operations including A/R, A/P, and managing all aspects of the general ledger
-Coordinate and assist with the preparation of the budget and financial reporting
-Verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to accounts
-Prepare timely monthly financial statements
-Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
-Ensure Generally Accepted Accounting Principles/GAAP compliance and comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements
-Develop and implement KPI’s

-4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
-5+ years’ proven accounting and finance experience; ag industry a plus
-Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required; Sage 300 software experience a plus
-Tech savvy and strong knowledge of IT systems a plus
-Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
-Strong time management and organizational skills
