Denham Resources has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hands-on Controller for our client, a highly successful and well-respected foodservice establishment.

-Oversees, leads, and develops budgets and cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reporting
-Collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data, recommends, and implements changes to improve operations and financial performance
-Manages the cash flow and activity and ensures reconciliation of all funds and bank accounts
-Provides leadership and direct hands-on support to the company and its’ entities in the cost and inventory accounting, capital spending and fixed assets management
-Responsible for internal controls, monthly and annual financial reporting, annual audits, and budgets
-Oversees, leads and manages accounting staff in accordance to GAAP guidelines and oversees the bookkeeping records for multiple entities
-Responsible for the technological infrastructure in the organization including cohesive implementation and integration of new and existing software

-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
-Minimum 5 - 10 years of progressive, hands-on financial and accounting management experience; hospitality, food processing or manufacturing industry is a plus
-Strong knowledge of internal controls, tax preparation and GAAP
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook; Sage ERP preferred
-Tech savvy with strong knowledge of IT systems and the ability to identify and implement measurable changes
-Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, inter-departmental communication and organizational skills
-High level of discretion and confidentiality
