Denham Resources' successful client is seeking a General Business Manager to join their leadership team overseeing and integrating all major functions of their engineering and land surveying firm. You'll execute the business plan and achieve P & L results by leading, managing and holding the team accountable for agreed upon commitments. You'll remove obstacles and barriers, manage major projects, standardize, and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business.

-Partner with Executive Management and the Board of Directors on short and long-term planning.
-Execute the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P & L objectives. Plan, evaluate and improve the firm's day-to-day operations, evaluating and developing the team, current systems and creating new systems.
-Develop and manage a comprehensive company budget and perform periodic budget and accounting analyses.
-Integrate all major operation functions of the business using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Ensure everyone is working together in the same direction toward the greater good of the business.
-Resolve issues quickly and effectively - seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
-Dependently demonstrate a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.
-Effectively collaborate with the visionaries of the organization to always remain aligned.
-Supervise, manage, and mentor direct reports across sales and marketing, operations, human resources, finance, and IT. Serve as the internal day-to-day leader of the organization by motivating and directing employees and teams to create accountability
-Confirm that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization. Ensure that everyone is in the know and verify that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organization.

-10+ years of senior leadership experience and a track record of leading and scaling an outcomes-based organization implementing the appropriate systems, organizational structures, and processes to achieve company goals.
-Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Business Management preferred.
-Familiarity and experience with EOS is a plus but not required.
-Strong knowledge of business processes, operations, and functions.
-Drive action, embrace and lead through change and strive for continuous improvement.
-A self- starter and critical thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and complete strategic projects with limited guidance and information.
-Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
