Denham Resources’ client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Financial Transactions to join their executive management team.

-Oversee, maintain, and improve the company’s system of accounts, implement and improve controls
-Keep accounting system up to date according to GAAP and ready to convert to IFRS
-Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
-Supports budgeting, financial forecasting, and M&A
-Primary contact with external auditors and external firms regarding State and Federal taxes
-Lead and mentor accounting managers
-Implement leading practices to increase operational efficiencies

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree only considered with extensive proven renewable energy experience)
-MBA, CPA or CMA
-Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting and financial management
-Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP compliance
-Strong experience in energy, farming, turbines, trains, construction or similar
-ERP, GAAP and IFRS experience
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; NetSuite a plus
-Collaborative, transparent management skills with sensitivity to cultural and social differences
