Description

Our client has a fantastic and fun opportunity for someone passionate about building strong relationships and encourage confidence by providing resources and support to adult volunteers who deliver an amazing program to girls so they can develop into strong, courageous, and well-balanced women.

-Strategic thinker to drive the vision for fundraising and communication efforts, which will ultimately benefit the lives of girls throughout our community
-Skilled and experienced at connecting with individuals across all socio-economic, ethnic, cultural, and professional backgrounds in the community
-Self-starter with strong personal initiative and ability to drive projects through to completion
-Assess, design, and develop training and development programs for the organization which build organizational capabilities in alignment with the strategic plan
-Keeps up-to-date program trainings that need to be assigned to volunteers through an online platform
-Assist volunteers, add training modules and pull reports using an online platform.
-Manage scheduling, training, and tracking processes to monitor report and development activities.
-Ensure legal compliance of the program’s training and development practices.
-Develop, schedule, and implement a year-round learning program to mee the needs of all volunteers
-Implement training assessments to the volunteers for various workshops
-Select appropriate instructional developmental methods such as computer-based training, individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, coaching, mentoring, training guides, and role play. Promote external training and learning opportunities for volunteers.
-Recruit and maintain teams of trainers to provide training in specific content, pathways, and geographic areas.
-Ensure volunteers have the necessary tools, resources, and support required to accomplish position assignments to become fully engaged as a program volunteer
-Responsible for delivering training opportunities to meet the needs of volunteers at all levels of the organization, for the recruitment, training, coordination, and welcoming of volunteer trainers.
-The Training Specialist will be a subject matter expert and deliver guidance and implement online training options, personally deliver training when volunteer trainers are not available.

Requirements

-3 years minimum of experience
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, lead, and train staff members and volunteers
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in organizational marketing, management, or youth program development and delivery
-Experience with learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
-Self-Driven, Self-Starter individual with an entrepreneurial spirit
-Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills to achieve results in partnership with others
-Ability and willingness to work effectively in both an individual and team atmosphere
-Exceptional oral communications skills to speak clearly to people in one-on-one and group settings
-Exceptional written communication skills to edit work for spelling, grammar
-Ability to present numerical data effectively, and able to read and interpret written information
-Ability to make sound decisions and have creative problem-solving
-Detail-oriented, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize projects
-Ability to complete time sensitive timelines, maintain confidentiality and manage multiple projects
-Tech savvy – Microsoft office, databases, email, internet applications, social media, and internet research experience
-Ability to work as a full-time, exempt staff member, which includes some evenings and weekends
-Clearance of background check
-Reliable transportation
-Dependability in attendance and work ethic
